Cascade Gun & Safety offers certified,  professional handgun safety training education.  Our classes are taught in a calm and non-intimidating environment by our USCCA & NRA certified instructor. All experience levels are welcome.

Start with our Intro To Basic Handgun class and apply for your Concealed Carry Permits upon completion. Students must be 21+ yrs. to enroll. Located in Sisters, Oregon and serving all of Central Oregon.

Intro To Basic Handgun

This class is perfect for new shooters who don’t own a gun or have purchased their first handgun. Learn essential safety protocols, proper handling techniques, and legal responsibilities.  Your safety – and those around you – is worth investing in.

Meet Your Instructor

Patrick M. Maley founded Cascade Gun & Safety in 2020. He began teaching firearm classes in 2011 for the Boy Scouts of America.

He is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, NRA Chief Range Safety Officer, Cerified Utah CFP Instructor, USCCA Instructor and Elite member, and a guest instructor at gun ranges throughout Central Oregon.  
‍
Patrick’s love for teaching combined with patience and attention to each student’s goals are what makes his courses standout. He provides every student with a learning pathway to achieve the confidence, knowledge and awareness needed to safely handle firearms.

Handgun Self-Defense

Tactical Handgun I

This is a beginning class on how to move and shoot with your handgun. If you’ve completed Basic Pistol, then this is the next course to enroll in and the first level of self-defense. Fee: $225/per student.

Tactical Handgun II

Learn advanced techniques focusing on speed and precision. This course will  help you gain agility and confidence necessary to handle the unexpected responsibly. Fee: $225/per student.

Private Lessons

Create your own custom program regardless of experience level. This is a good fit for those who want to focus on specfic skills, for small groups or families who want to train together. Fee: $125/hr.
